UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County rescue crews are responding to a school bus crash in Upper Marlboro where there are reports of dozens of injured students.

Fire department spokesman Mark Brady says as many as 40 elementary school age students may be injured. The school bus apparently crashed with another vehicle about 2:45 p.m. Wednesday on Route 301 near Marlboro Pike.

Brady says it's not clear how severe the students' injuries may be. It wasn't immediately clear what school the students were traveling from.

Brady says the loaded school bus was traveling south on Route 301 in Upper Marlboro.
