UNION BRIDGE, Md. - Maryland State Police say one person is dead in a tractor-trailer crash near Union Bridge in Frederick County.

Police say the crash happened around 6 a.m. Monday near the intersection of Clemsonville Road and Route 75.

They say a truck traveling south on Clemsonville Road failed to negotiate a curve and overturned into a culvert.

Police say the area is closed to traffic so authorities can remove the truck and investigate the crash.
