Tainted cupcake sends teen to hospital

FREDERICK, Md. - A 16-year-old Frederick High student was taken to the hospital after eating a cupcake police believe may have been tainted with an illegal substance.
According to Frederick County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Crpl. Jennifer Bailey, the teen girl was taken to a local hospital with symptoms that seemed similar to an overdose.
She has been treated and released.
Because the evidence was eaten police did not file charges and have closed the case.
