CLINTON, Md. (WMAR) - A Prince George's County Police Officer injured in a car crash Thursday is dead.
Kevin Bowden, 28, was driving in Clinton when his car and another car collided. His police cruiser then crashed into a pole.
Bowden and the driver of the other car were taken to a hospital, where Bowden later died. The other person suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Bowden, a 6-year veteran of the force is the second Prince George's County officer to die in a car crash in recent months. In August, Adrian Morris died when his cruiser ran off the highway during a chase.
