ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Today in Annapolis, a house committee will hear a bill that would require drivers to install an ignition interlock system if they had a child in the car when they were caught drunk driving.
The bill is sponsored by State Delegate Sam Arora from Montgomery County.
The current law only mandates the use of the "ignition interlock" device when the drunk driver has a blood alcohol level of 0.15, which is twice the legal limit.
The hearing is set for 1:00 pm.
