WALDORF, Md. (AP) - Charles County authorities say a 6-year-old boy has drowned in Waldorf.
The Charles County Sheriff's office says the boy was playing with a group of children Sunday afternoon when he fell into a lake.
Investigators say the other children ran to get help. Police and fire officials found the child, and he was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Officials say no foul play is suspected in the drowning.
