FREDERICK, Md. (WMAR) - A boy is behind bars after police say he robbed someone for their shoes.
Frederick Police say a boy robbed another juvenile for their sneakers on Sunday morning around 6:30 a.m.
The incident happened in the area of East 4th Street. Police say the robber was with a group other kids on bikes.
Hours later, police say the same group of kids attempted to rob another person for their shoes in the Baker Park area.
The suspect led police on a small chase before they were able to catch up to him and slap handcuffs on his wrist.
Police say the boy they arrested was wearing the same shoes stolen in the first incident.
The boy faces several theft and robbery related charges.
