MILLINGTON, Md. (WMAR) -
A four-year-old boy is dead tonight after he wandered from his home and drowned in a neighbor’s pool.
The Kent County Sheriff’s Office says that Jordan Adkins, 4, of the 300 block of West Street in Millington, was found in an above ground swimming pool.
The pool was less than four feet deep.
When family members found the child, they began CPR and had someone call 911.
Adkins was transported to the Chester River Hospital Center where he was pronounced dead.
Officers say they are still investigating to rule out any foul play.
