Border to Border: DUI busts

FREDERICK COUNTY, Md. (WMAR) -  

Maryland State Police patrolled Border to Border Friday night, pulling over nearly 30 cars.

Border to Border is an initiative to locate impaired drivers and educate the public on impaired driving laws.

They set up shop on Route 15 in Frederick County.

Four Troopers stopped a total of 29 cars for various motor vehicle violations.

Of the drivers stopped, police put three of them through field sobriety testing.  One was arrested for DUI and a second was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant through Queen Anne’s County. 

Additionally, there were 17 traffic citations, 23 written warnings and three Safety Equipment Repair Orders issued.
