BALTIMORE (AP) -

Baltimore Gas and Electric says it has deployed more than 40 utility workers to support its sister utility, PECO, with power restoration work in suburban Philadelphia.

BGE says it sent crews with nearly 25 vehicles from White Marsh early Saturday morning. The crews included overhead linemen and safety and support staff.

They are expected to assist with restoration efforts in Pennsylvania throughout the week, beginning in Buckingham, Pa.

BGE says it completed restoration for nearly 350,000 customers affected by Superstorm Sandy in central Maryland by late Friday night.
