Officials with the Maryland State Police say a DUI saturation patrol in Frederick County over the weekend yielded eight arrests.
Three of the incident reportedly involved motor vehicle collisions, but none resulted in injuries.
The saturation took place on the I-70 / I-270 / RT 15 corridor of the county. In addition to the eight drivers charged with DUI, officials say there were 31 vehicles stopped for a variety of moving and equipment violations.
The Maryland State Police is taking the result of the saturation as an opportunity to remind drivers to report impaired or unsafe drivers. The closest state police barracks can be contacted by calling #77 or 911.
