3 men accused of trying to steal 130 tires

FREDERICK, Md. (AP) - Three men were arrested after police say they tried to steal 130 tires from an automotive store.

Thirty-nine-year-old Calvin Keeney Jr. of Harpers Ferry W. Va., 29-year-old Stephen Lee Travels of Woodsboro and 41-year-old Reuben Lynn of New Market were charged with burglary and conspiracy.

Frederick police tell the News-Post of Frederick that about 4:40 a.m. Sunday, the three loaded a rented box truck with 130 tires taken from Pep Boys on West Patrick Street. The tires were worth about $12,000. (http://bit.ly/wUL11h)
