LAUREL - Howard County police are investigating the cause of an apartment fire in Laurel that resulted in two injuries and at least 12 displaced families.
Firefighters were dispatched to the 9100 block of Blues Alley in Laurel at approximately 5:30am Monday morning for the 3-alarm fire.
Officials say two unidentified adult residents sustained non-life threatening injuries.
One was transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview and the other was transported to Laurel Regional Hospital.
