FREDERICK, Md. (WMAR) - Detectives with the Frederick Police Department have charged an adult and a juvenile in the strong armed robbery of a man who says he was thrown to the ground and violently punched and kicked before one of his three attackers took his wallet.

The incident happened on July 9 in the area of Apple Way and McCain Drive.

Anthony Lamont Carroll, Jr. has been charged with robbery, assault, theft and use of a stolen credit card. Officials say the victim’s credit card was used on August 29 and Carroll later turned himself in to authorities.

The case against the juvenile has been forwarded to the Department of Juvenile Services for processing.

Detectives say they are still following leads in regards to the identity of the third suspect.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Frederick Police Department at 301-600-TIPS.
