February is National Teen Dating violence month.
Friday tonight a new film by Nickelodeon star turned filmmaker Jordon Coleman was screened in Baltimore.
It's called "Speak Up and Get Out."
It is a cautionary tale about teen dating violence and the need for people to work together to stop it.
Experts say in many cases teens and their friends will not say anything about abusive relationships that they're in or that they may witness.
Set The Captives Free Church in Windsor Mill hosted Friday night's event.
The film is being shown around the country to encourage a conversation about teen dating violence.
