When will the next meteor showers come to the United States?

BALTIMORE - Did the meteor that hit Russia strike your interest?  There are several meteor showers that will be viewable in the lower 48 states.

April: Lyrids will come on the night of April 21

May: Eta Aquarids will come on the night of May 5

August: Perseids will come on the nights of August 11 and 12.

October: Orionids will be in view most of the night on October 21.

November: You can see Leonids on the night of November 16.

December: Geminids can be viewed on the nights of December 12 and 13.

Actual shower times can vary.
