A new study shows emotional effects on young adults when they're separated from media devices.
The International Center for Media and Public Affairs tried to get a thousand college students to unplug from all media forms for just a day and the majority couldn't do it.
Students said they felt depressed, anxious and lonely.
Aside from the social effects shown in the study, it also revealed that mobile phones are becoming an extension of teens. And without it, they feel that they've lost a part of themselves.
