COOKSVILLE, Md. - For those Howard County residents in the west who have no water, the County has deployed a "water buffalo" to help ease the pain.
The past 72 hours have been difficult and inconvenient, and the county understands that there are families without power, and some rely on power to pump water from the wells.
Starting tonight from 4-10 p.m. the County will have a 2,000 gallon tank set up in the parking lot of the Gary J. Arthur Community Center, 2400 Route 97, Cooksville for residents to get clean water.
Water will also be available tomorrow from 12 to 8 p.m.
The water can be used for drinking water, flushing toilets and bathing.
The county is asking that you bring your own clean containers.
