Motorcyclist killed after colliding with car

Officials say the driver of a Kawasaki Ninja Motorcycle traveling west on Rt. 100 in Ellicott City struck the rear of a Toyota Camry that had slowed down due to traffic back-up.
Motorcycle driver 25-year-old Devan Cheatham Jones of the 3800 block of Thoroughbred Lane in Owings Mills was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mr. Jones was wearing a motorcycle helmet at the time of the crash, which happened around 9:45 pm.
The driver of the Toyota was uninjured.
The accident is still being investigated.
