COLUMBIA, Md. - Howard County Police are asking for the public's help to figure out what happened during a serious crash last week in Columbia.

Police say Tuesday, February 21st, just before 9 p.m. a Toyota Avalon crashed with a Ford Explorer on Route 32 East at Route 29.

The driver of the Toyota, 64-year-old Mary Ann Cecile Levant, was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma and remains in critical condition.

The driver of the Ford Explorer, 41-year-old Richie Junior Burgess, was not injured.

Levant is not able to talk to police, so they are trying to confirm the circumstances of the crash through potential witnesses.
