ELLICOTT CITY, Md. - A fire ripped through an Ellicott City home on Sunday, leaving a family homeless this morning.
The fire broke out around 10 p.m. on Mullineaux Lane. Three people were home at the time but got out safely.
It took about 40 minutes to get the fire under control. The Red Cross is assisting the family this morning.
Not too long after that fire broke out crews responded to another one on corporate court in Ellicott City in a commercial building.
No one was injured and the fire was under control quickly. The cause of the fire has not been announced yet.
