GLENWOOD, Md. (WMAR) -

Howard County Police are trying to figure out how a crash caused a school bus to flip over onto it's side Friday afternoon.

Police say the crash happened just before 2:00 p.m. on Route 97 near Roxbury Mills Road.

The preliminary information suggests that the bus was going north on 97 with one student on board when a Corolla going south clipped it. The force of the crash caused the bus to flip onto its side.

Police say the two drivers that were involved suffered minor injuries and the student was not hurt.
