COLUMBIA, Md. - Howard Community College is teaming up with the Domestic Violence Center of Howard County to host a forum this evening to raise awareness of dating violence.

The forum will be held Wednesday night from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and will be free for the community.

Topics that will be covered include how to recognize and respond to warning signs of potentially dangerous relationships.

There will also be several speakers on a panel including a representative from the Howard County Police Department, the Maryland Network against Domestic Violence, and survivors of violent relationships.

There is no charge for admission to the event, but a donation of $10 is suggested to raise money for the Domestic Violence Center of Howard County.
