COLUMBIA, Md. (WMAR) - Together, Howard County Executive Ken Ulman and Councilman Calvin Ball officially unveiled the newly named April Wind Court today.
Previously the street was named Coon Hunt Court, however, six households on the street petitioned the County in July to change the name based on disorderly experiences including the street sign being stolen numerous times over the years.
On September 7, the Howard County Planning Board unanimously approved the street name change at a public hearing.
