ELKRIDGE, Md. - Three people were killed in a tractor trailer versus car crash in Elkridge Thursday morning.
The crash happened south of Meadowridge on Route 1. Officials say the speed of the car, a Chevy Impala played a role in the crash.
Three adults from Prince Georges County were killed. Among those wee two men in their mid 20s and one man in his mid 30s. No other injuries were reported.
The crash happened at 6:30 a.m. and Route 1 was closed from Meadowridge Road to Route 175 (Waterloo) until about noon. Motorists were advised to avoid the area by taking I-95.
