Howard County, Md. - There's new debate over the alcohol tax in Maryland. It's not how much money you should spend on a drink but how the money raised should be spent.

There's a proposal before the Howard County School Board that would use the money to put new turf athletic fields at two of the high schools.

Not everyone is on board with the plan, saying the money should be used for building renovations. Late Thursday night, a vote on the issue was tabled in order to allow for public hearings.

No word on when those public hearings will
