ABERDEEN, Md. - A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a car in Harford County, according to Aberdeen Police.
David Robert Brooke Jr. of Aberdeen was hit by a 1996 Chevy Blazer that was driven by a 50-year-old man from Aberdeen.
It happened just before 5a.m. on Route 40 near Route 22.
Officers gave CPR to Brooke, 32, at the scene. He was then taken to Harford Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced deadly shortly after arriving.
The driver was not injured.
The eastbound lanes were shut down as police investigated, but opened around 7 a.m.
