BALTIMORE - One person is on the way to the hospital after an early morning fire in Edgewood.
Rich Gardiner, spokesperson for the Harford County Fire Department, says the fire started around 5:30 a.m. on Kennard Avenue in Edgewood.
Initially it was reported to firefighters that a paralyzed man was trapped in the home.
Crews arrived and rescued one person from the home. It is not clear if that person is paralyzed or not. Medics took that person to the hospital in serious condition.
Firefighters were able to get the fire under control by around 6 a.m.
