Motorcyclist collides with dump truck

At around 1:10 p.m. on Saturday, Maryland State Police responded to a collision in Whiteford at Dublin Road and Conowingo Road.

 

When police arrived they found that the crash involved a 2007 Harley Davidson and a 1979 Ford dump truck.

 

After investigation, Police found the motorcycle was going east on Dublin Road when the rider crossed the center lines and was struck by the dump truck.

 

The driver of the Ford tried to miss him by swerving right and off the road.  The motorcycle rider was launched from his motorcycle.

 

He was taken to Upper Chesapeake Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.  Police are still investigating the collision.
