Man hit by truck, in critical condition

EDGEWOOD, Md (WMAR) -  

A 22-year-old man remains in critical condition Thursday night after being hit by a car in Harford County.
 
According to Edward Hopkins, spokesperson for the Harford County Sheriff's Office, Myles Murphy was trying to run across the intersection of Hanson Rd & Woodbridge Center Way in Edgewood.
 
While attempting to cross the street Murphy ran into the path of an oncoming Ford Explorer, police say.
 
Police add that the driver tried swerving to avoid the collision, but the efforts were unsuccessful.
 
Murphy was treated at the scene and flown to Shock Trauma.
 
A police investigation reveals that this crash is considered to be pedestrian error.
 
No charged have been filed.
