HAVRE DE GRACE, Md - The skipjack Martha Lewis will be among the dozens of ships in Baltimore this week for a weeklong international maritime festival commemorating the War of 1812.

Harford County officials say the Havre de Grace-based ship will help promote the numerous heritage and tourism attractions in the upper Chesapeake Bay region. It's taking part in what is being called the "Star-Spangled Sailabration."

The v-bottom, two-masted Martha Lewis is one of the few remaining skipjacks on the Chesapeake, where they are the last sail-powered commercial fishing vessels in the country.

County officials say the ship will be docked on the Broadway Pier in Baltimore's Fells Point until Thursday. The Martha Lewis is then scheduled to move to the Baltimore Marine Center, where it will stay until Sunday.
