Harford county students are getting a little hands on exposure this school year.

North Harford high is the new magnet school where students will learn about large animal sciences, plant sciences, and natural resource sciences.

60 students from all over the county will participate in the program this year.

"The goal is to immerse these kids into a science and an inquiry based learning."

Students will have the responsibility of caring for the animals, feeding them and cleaning up after them.

The students will also have the opportunity to earn college credits.
