Final arrangements set for Ofc. Armetta

HARFORD COUNTY, Md. (WMAR) - The Harford County Municipal F.O.P. Lodge has established a Memorial Fund for the family of Officer Charles Armetta, final arrangements have also been made.

Officer Armetta was killed in an off-duty incident on Saturday when he fell 47 feet off an elevated exit ramp on I-95.

Officer Armetta is survived by his wife Heather, their 1-year-old daughter Adrianna, his mother and father, three brothers and one sister.

The family will receive friends at the Schimunek Funeral Home at 9705 Belair Road in Nottingham on Wednesday and Thursday from 3-9p.m., where a vigil service will be held on Thursday.

A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the St. Stephen Church. Interment will take place in the Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
