JOPPA, Md. (WMAR) - An 86-year-old woman that was involved in a school bus crash on February 7 has passed away from her injuries.
Marguerite Gude of Joppa died on Friday, 10 days after the crash. Harford County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the crash on Philadelphia Road near Mill Road in Abingdon early that morning.
There were no students on the bus at the time of the crash. Gude was a passenger in the car that was driven by her son Earl.
Marguerite was extricated from the vehicle and flown to Shock Trauma, her son was not injured in the crash.
According to the initial reports, Earl told police that he had dozed off at the time of the crash.
