Crash victim lifted from ravine by crane

A person was lifted from a crash scene by a crane Wednesday morning in the Joppa area. Not much is known about the person, other than a car went over the embankment in the area of Singer Road and Winters Run Road.
Officials say the car landed on its roof in the water. Rescue crews removed the person from the car, and a Maryland State Police medevac helicopter transported the person to a local hospital.
