He protected the people of Harford County for more than a decade and this morning Corporal Charles Licato of the Harford County Sheriff's Department was laid to rest.
Licato died in a car crash last week while on his way home from work.
Friends, family and colleagues have been paying their final respects to him for the past couple of days.
His funeral as held today at Mountain Christian Church in Joppa.
