STREET, Md. (WMAR) - Two children were rushed to the hospital after crashing an ATV in Street.
A spokesperson for the Harford County Sheriff's Office says an 11-year-old and 6-year-old were riding the ATV in their front yard when it crashed into a tree.
The crash happened in the 1100 block of Boyd Road on Sunday afternoon.
When deputies arrived, both children were alert and conscious.
The 11-year-old was flown to Shock Trauma out of precaution because he claimed to have hit his head. The 6-year-old was taken to Upper Chesapeake Hospital.
Police say neither of the children were wearing helmets but are expected to be okay.
