ABERDEEN, Md. - An unattended candle cost a family more than $100,000 in damages after a fire broke out in a Harford County home.

Investigators say a four-year-old saw the fire and alerted his grandmother.
 
A man inside the home tried fighting the fire with a blanket and a fire extinguisher, but the smoke and flames became too intense.
 
Harford County fire says no one was injured.
