ABERDEEN, Md. - A 17-year-old died overnight after a crash in Abderdeen.

Less than an hour before the new year, Austin D. Remines, 17, of Belcamp, was driving in Aberdeen when his car collided with another on Bush Chapel Road.

Police say as Remines rounded a curve he was driving on the yellow center line.  Witnesses say he swerved back into his lane, but lost control of the vehicle and then hit an oncoming car.

Christopher Radcliffe, 27, was driving a Toyota Yaris when Remines collided into him. Remines was driving a 2008 Suzuki Forenza.

Remines was taken to Harford Memorial Hospital and pronounced dead at 2:18 a.m.

Sheriff’s deputies say both drivers were wearing seat belts.  The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

Radcliffe was not injured and will not have charges filed against him.
