REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. (WMAR) - Rehoboth Beach Police are investigating an arrest caught on camera and uploaded to You Tube.
With more than 40,000 views and 500 comments, the video is sparking conversation of police brutality versus necessary force.
The video was uploaded last Thursday and shows a man being arrested at a motel. You can see officers shocking the man and kicking him in the face.
The woman behind the camera is heard screaming that she is the man's wife. She asks police several times to take her husband home.
Rehoboth Beach is about two hours from Maryland's Eastern Shore.
ABC sister station WMDT spoke with police there, who released a statement explaining "the use-of-force incident is under investigation."
The arrest stems from an incident at the Crosswinds Motel on April 7th .
