There's no doubt that wind and rain from winter storm Saturn were a problem for areas along the Eastern Shore in Maryland and Delaware.
As government officials opened flood shelters in areas expected to be heavily impacted, traffic and weather cameras showed the strength of wind and rain .
It was only a taste of what was to come.
Residents of Ocean City and surrounding areas awoke Thursday to find flooded homes, streets, yards -- work done to repair damage from Super Storm Sandy in some areas -- lost.
High winds speeds led to thousands of power outages along the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Delaware. They also closed the Bay Bridge Wednesday afternoon after first toppling an 18-wheeler.
