OCEAN CITY, Md. -
Ocean City is bracing for whatever Hurricane Sandy might bring.

Mayor Richard Meehan says some 50,000 to 60,000 visitors are in the city this weekend, along with the 8,000 permanent residents. Beach erosion is expected to be a problem here along with flooding in low-lying areas, which the locals are used to, as long as it's not too severe.

Emergency management officials in Ocean City will meet on Saturday afternoon to reassess the situation and see if it continues to track farther North.
