RISING SUN, Md. (WMAR) -

The Plumpton Park Zoo has announced the birth of two brand new European Brown Bear Cubs.

Frankie and Ringo were born at the Zoo just 8 weeks ago, and are doing well.

Frankie and Ringo have to live separate from their mother Hope, as her enclosure would be too small to allow enough room for 3 bears.

The cubs will have their official debut on Sunday, March 10. However, members can come and meet the cubs on Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and they can see the cubs then.

All proceeds from Sunday's event will go to build the cubs their new home at the Zoo.
