CECILTON, Md. (WMAR) - A Cecil County pilot is recovering from minor injuries after police say he overcorrected a landing and ended up entangled in some trees.
Assistant Chief Jay Pardee says the ultralight plane was attempting to land on the Knight Island Road airstrip when the pilot over corrected and became entangled in some trees.
The pilot was trapped inside the aircraft for a short time, but crews were able to get him out of his harness and down to the ground.
Pardee says the pilots injuries were very minor.
