CONOWINGO, Md. - A Bel Air man is dead after a one car crash near the Conowingo Dam early Sunday morning.

State Police say Wade Walter, 38, died when his car failed to stop at a T-intersection and rolled several times, throwing him from the car.

The crash happened around 3 a.m. on Sunday at the intersection of Route 222 and Route 1.  Walter was driving north on 222 when he failed to stop or turn.  The car hit a concrete wall and flipped several times.

Walter was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.  State Police say the road was closed for several hours after the crash.
