Hwy 275 closed after fatal accident near Craigtown Road

PORT DEPOSIT, Md. - Highway 275 was closed  for several hours in the area of Craigtown Road Tuesday as officials worked the scene of a fatal accident..

The one-vehicle accident happened at approximately 1 p.m. The road was reopened shortly after 4 p.m.

Police say the driver of the car, Nancy Jane Panco was driving her 2008 Lincoln MKZ when she lost control and it left the roadway and overturned. Panco was pronounced dead on the scene. 

While there was no indication that drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash, but the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
