ELDERSBURG, Md. - A Maryland State Trooper is in the hospital after flipping his patrol car trying to avoid a deer.
Trooper Mark Lyons from the Westminster Barrack crashed driving along Route 26 in the area of Klee Mill Road. Lyons swerved to avoid a deer and ended up flipping.
Medics flew him to Shock Trauma. He is in stable condition.
