Carroll County got a taste of what was actually forecast Wednesday.
In Westmister, there was about five inches of snow in some areas. As expected, it wasn't the good fluffy snow.
The mix of rain, sleet, snow and temperatures made for a hard, slushy, icy mix.
But, there was still the chance for children and adults alike to have fun.
At noon, a group of girls could be seen making the best of the snow, sledding down a large hill at Liberty High School in Eldersburg.
While snow made it's appearance, by late afternoon it had little to no effect on main roads in Carroll County that were visibly clear.
