TIMONIUM, Md. - Looking for a fun weekend activity for you and your pet?

The World of Pets Expo is being held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Maryland State Fairgrounds.

"We've got something for everyone from the serious pet enthusiast to the casual pet admirer, including a chance to show off your pet in the "Parade of Breeds" said Jeanne Emge, President of Premier Events, the producer of the Expo.

The event will also have a Pet Costume & Talent contest, cat show, dog agility trial, dog jumping contest, seminars, intensive workshops, and even a Guinea Pig-A-Thon!

Expo hours are Friday, January 27, from 2 to 8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for ages 5-12 and it is free for children 5 and under. (Cash only at the door)
