BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. - UPDATE | Traffic is moving again on I-95 South after a crash involving a motorcycle and car shut the road down for nearly an hour.
A duty officer at the Maryland State Police Waterloo Barrack originally reported a woman was critically injured along with a child. However, The state police Golden Ring Barrack duty officer, who's troopers responded to the scene, says a child was never injured and the woman only suffered injuries to her leg.
The female motorcyclist was rushed to Shock Trauma by ambulance.
The crash scene was cleared just before 7:00p.m.
A crash between a motorcyclist and the driver of a car shut down I-95 South at I-195 on Sunday evening.
According to Maryland State Police, the female motorcyclist was taken to Shock Truama with serious life-threatening injuries.
An 8-year-old, who was in the car involved in the crash, was also injured. Police believe those injuries are minor.
The other two people in the car were not hurt, police say.
The crash happened just before 6:00 p.m.
